This policy is mandatory for all employees of NYC Limo VIP, including full-time, part-time, temporary, and contract staff.
3. Prohibited Conduct:
Employees are strictly prohibited from:
• Using, possessing, buying, selling, or distributing illegal drugs.
• Consuming alcohol before or during work hours.
• Operating company vehicles under the influence of any substance that impairs cognitive or motor abilities, including certain prescription medications.
4. Mandatory Testing:
• Pre-Employment Testing: All prospective employees must pass a drug and alcohol test before commencing employment.
• Random Testing: Employees are subject to random drug and alcohol testing at any time during their employment. Refusal to submit to testing will be considered a violation of this policy.
5. Reporting Obligations:
Employees must disclose the use of any prescription medication that may impair their job performance.
6. Violation Consequences:
Any violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of employment. Legal action may be pursued where necessary.
7. Employee Responsibility:
Employees are obliged to familiarize themselves with and adhere to this policy. Ignorance of the policy will not be considered a valid defense.
8. Support for Substance Abuse Issues:
We encourage employees facing substance abuse challenges to seek assistance. However, this does not exempt them from adherence to this policy.
9. Policy Enforcement and Amendments:
This policy will be enforced without exceptions. Amendments may be made to ensure the policy adheres to legal standards and the objectives of NYC Limo VIP.
